Rise to Power - Mario

Tried a few new things this time:

-tried using mostly straight lines for a different feel than usual roundedness

-used only 1 line weight throughout

-watercolor style background

-used marquee selections for coloring instead of tablet (used tablet for background and final touches though)

Zombie Kingdom Poster

You might remember my hit Zombie Mario shirt design for my clothing line Cherry Sauce. WELL there was an outcry asking for a poster to be made of the design. Instead of just blowing up my shirt design, I decided to digitally paint my original linework so the poster would be it’s own beast. Here is my finished product, I hope you guys like it. Spent far too long on this, but quite happy with how it turned out.

Smash brothers was a huge part of any current gen gamer’s childhood, we don’t care how hardcore of a gamer you are/were and if you’re too cool for nintendo. This game DEFINED childhoods, and should be played and enjoyed by all.

“gameBoy”

Here’s to the nights we stayed up late; beating our high score in Tetris, attempting to defeat the Elite Four, and finding out the princess was in another castle.

Part 1 of a multi-piece set paying homage to gaming. Hope you like :) More pixel-art to come.

Side project.

Working on minimalist 3 poster set collection of the original 3 starter pokemon (as they were the best) this is very preliminary, just dropping colors and shapes in photoshop. Will probably do final vector versions this week.
